WWC175 - The Winners!

Hello and Happy Tuesday!  It's time to announce our Rock Star and Rockers for Marsha's Masculine "Anything Goes" challenge.  But first, we'd like to thank all those who played along with us.  You're entries this week were fantastic!  You are making it harder and harder on us to make our choices as we think you are all stars.  Well done!

Marsha's choice for our Watercooler Rock Star is Sharon's wonderful Nutcracker design.  Well done!  Following the winner are the Watercooler Artists choices for the Watercooler Rockers.

Marsha's Winner:  Sharon's "bit box" Nutcracker is wonderful.  It's the perfect way to use up those bits and pieces.   Fantastic masculine Christmas card!

Congratulations, Sharon!  Here is your badge to proudly display on your blog designating you as our Watercooler Rock Star.

Now it's on to the Watercooler Artists choices for our Watercooler Rockers.  They are shown in no particular order.

Gail's Choice:  The layered embossing really creates a great metallic edge to the die cuts. And who doesn't love a lime green stag head?

Heidi's Choice:  Toni's goodbye card is amazing! I love the vibrant colours and that awesome wheel of sentiments.

Charlotte's Choice:  I love the simple, masculine colour scheme and the clean layout. The touches of shine really help to make the card feel extra special. A great masculine birthday card.

Helen's Choice:  Stephanie has made a great bright, happy card showing great movement with all the hands. A perfect graduation celebration!

Kath's Choice:  Her unique use of lettering makes this a stand out Father's Day card!

Congratulations, Mac, Toni, Giulia, Stephanie and Wendy.  Here is your badge to proudly display on your blog designating you as one of our Watercooler Rockers.

There you have our Rock Star and Watercooler Rockers lineup for this week!  Be sure to come back tomorrow, June 27th, for our next Watercooler Wednesday Challenge.  You won't want to miss out on all the wonderful designs by our Watercooler Artists.

WWC174 - The Winners

Hello and Happy Tuesday!  It's time to announce our Rock Star and Rockers for Gail's "All About Occasions" challenge.  But first, we'd like to thank all those who played along with us.  You're entries this week were fantastic!  You are making it harder and harder on us to make our choices as we think you are all stars.  Well done!

Gail's choice for our Watercooler Rock Star is Cornelia's ice cream and popsicle summery design.  Well done!  Following the winner are the Watercooler Artists choices for the Watercooler Rockers.

Gail's Rock Star:  There are several great things about this design, including the colouring on the kraft cardstock. And, maybe because we are having a heatwave where I am - those ice cream cones just look so yummy!

Congratulations, Cornelia!  Here is your badge to proudly display on your blog designating you as our Watercooler Rock Star.

Now it's on to the Watercooler Artists choices for our Watercooler Rockers.  They are shown in no particular order.

Marsha's Choice:  Gwendolyn's coloring of this flower is absolutely beautiful!  Love the bit of shine the transparent gel gives to the stenciling.  It made for a perfect background.

Kath's Choice:   Beautiful easel card.  I love the image as well as lovely DSP.

Heidi's Choice:  I love the beautiful watercoloured scene which Vicki created. Perfect Father's Day card.

Charlotte's Choice:  A beautiful clean and simple design. I love the fun detail of using
a chain of pearls for the circle, and the glossy sheen on the flowers really makes them pop.

Helen's Choice:   Dawn has created a beautifully delicate card with soft colours and
lovely basketweave background.

Congratulations, Gwendolyn, Hazel, Vicki, Raga and Dawn.  Here is your badge to proudly display on your blog designating you as one of our Watercooler Rockers.

There you have our Rock Star and Watercooler Rockers lineup for this week!  Be sure to come back tomorrow, June 20th, for our next Watercooler Wednesday Challenge.  You won't want to miss out on all the wonderful designs by our Watercooler Artists.

WWC174 - Gail's "All About Occasions" Challenge

Woo Hoo!  It's Gail's turn to host one of our favourite challenges, the "All About Occasions" challenge.  There are endless types of occasions that come around all year long.  This is our chance to share what we create.

We have some awesome cards to share with you all, but first we have to say goodbye to two of our team members.  Penny Hanuszak, one of our long-term Watercooler Artists and Tenia Nelson, who hasn't been with us as long, are both leaving for personal and family reasons.  We'll miss their wonderful creativity.

As a result, we're having a Design Team Call.  Read carefully and please follow our instructions if you are interested in being considered for our team.

          1.  Please email Heidi Weaver at krikittycat@yahoo.ca with your
reasons for wanting to be part of the team and what you believe
you can bring to the challenge.
          2.  Please link your creation up to the challenge.  There is no need
to put DT.  We will check out your blog as well as the card you
               link up.
          3.  We run this challenge as a team effort.  We have a new challenge
each week  to which to whole team contributes.  Everyone is
expected to vote for their top choice each week.  Deadlines and
rules are in place for the whole team to follow.
          4.  Deadline for DT call:  June 25th.  We will choose the new
Watercooler Artists before the end of June and their first challenge
               will be July 4th.

Now that we have that piece of business out of the way, let's get down to our awesome samples.  As usual we have some terrific projects by the Watercooler Artists to get your creative juices flowing.  You can see how many different Occasions our team has covered for this challenge.   For details on how the Watercooler Artists created their projects, just click on the name underneath and you will be taken to that blog post.  We begin with Gail's beautifully crafted and coloured Christmas card:
