WWC209 - The Watercooler Rock Star and Rockers

Drum roll, please!  It's Tuesday and time to announce our Watercooler Rock Star and Watercooler Rockers for Marsha's Masculine "Anything Goes" challenge.  But first, we'd like to thank all those who played along with us.  Beautiful entries that make our choices so much harder, but we think you are all stars.  Well done!
Marsha's choice for our Watercooler Rock Star is Robyn's wonderful Distress Oxide background card design.  Following the winner are the Watercooler Artists choices for the Watercooler Rockers.

Marsha's Winner:   Robyn has created a perfect masculine background with Distress Oxide Inks. I like how the browns and the blues blend together so well. I've not tried the cling wrap technique but this is an inspiration to do so. Well done, Robyn.

Congratulations, Robyn!  Here is your badge to proudly display on your blog designating you as our Watercooler Rock Star.

Next up are the other wonderful designs that caught the eyes of the other Watercooler Artists for our Watercooler Rockers.  They are shown in no particular order.

Kath's Choice:   Jane has made a fantastic Mustache card. Her City Gent is a fun card.

Dawn's Choice:   Love her cute kitten. The use of the brick stenciling red against the brick embossing is very clever. A lovely card.

Tristan's Choice:  Inky Fingers has created a super vibrant fun card. I love the multimedia feel of it using the acrylic paint and stencils. It makes my heart sing - LOL

Gail's Choice:   The nautical theme is well done. That pop of yellow in the porthole really draws the eye. The gray wood sets things off beautifully.

Heidi's Choice:  Patti's CAS card is striking and fun. That little dog is beautifully coloured and works perfectly with the sentiment. Love the embossed numbers behind the oval die-cut, too.

Karen's Choice:  Marina created a beautiful and personal card that combines the striking combination of a layered Koi over a script background. I love that she incorporated the gentleman's hobby into his birthday card.

Donna's Choice:  Natasa has created a super guy birthday card! Love the gray and bold yellow. The rounded cutouts are something I've never seen before! I like how they allow the cool pattern paper full of birthday greetings to peak through.

Helen's Choice:   Lisa has created a fun Dr Seuss card with a digi image. Great use of bright colourful DP in her clever design.

Charlotte's Choice:   I love the cute bear and the fun tone on tone background design. Great colouring, too.

Congratulations Jane, Monika, Cath, Trina, Patti, Marina, Natasa, Lisa and Ishani!  Here is your badge to proudly display on your blog designating you as one of our Watercooler Rockers.

That's our lineup for this weeks' Watercooler Rock Star and Watercooler Rockers.  Be sure to come back tomorrow, February 27th, for our next Watercooler Wednesday Challenge.  You won't want to miss all the wonderful designs by our Watercooler Artists.

WWC208 - The Watercooler Rock Star and Rockers

Drum roll, please!  It's Tuesday and time to announce our Watercooler Rock Star and Watercooler Rockers for Charlotte's "All About Occasions" challenge.  But first, we'd like to thank all those who played along with us.  Beautiful entries that make our choices so much harder, but we think you are all stars.  Well done!

Charlotte's choice for our Watercooler Rock Star is Sharon's ink splatting card design.  Following the winner are the Watercooler Artists choices for the Watercooler Rockers.

Charlotte's Winner:  Sharon has created a fantastic clean and simple design. The splashes of colour are really fun, and the sentiment over them stands out wonderfully.

Congratulations, Sharon!  Here is your badge to proudly display on your blog designating you as our Watercooler Rock Star.

Next up are the other wonderful designs that caught the eyes of the other Watercooler Artists for our Watercooler Rockers.  They are shown in no particular order.

#35 - Rosali
Karen's Choice:  I love the fun dog scene! Rosali's beautiful watercoloring has brought each pup to life. Perfectly executed.

Marsha's Choice:  Dena has designed a beautiful card.  I love how she offset each die-cut layer to give dimension and depth.  The flower is a great addition.  Very well done.

Heidi's Choice:  Mac has created a stunning CAS card which, as it turns out, wasn’t so simple to make. The wonderful raised script and floral outline, both stencilled using embossing paste, add to the elegance. I love the glittery, metallic raised petals, so subtly coloured. The combination of the die-cut and stamped sentiment really adds the perfect finishing touch.

Dawn's Choice:  The alcohol ink background is amazing (Love Purple) what a great way to die cut the hearts on the edge of the white panel, makes them pop!

Gail's Choice:  I just love the expressions and the poses of those three gentlemen. I can picture them sitting on a park bench, watching the world go by. They colouring is great and the DSP patterns are a great combination.

Tristan's Choice:  Ellibelle has created a fabulous multi-media looking card, with faded script, stunning colours and a great effect with the water colour wash background.

Helen's Choice:  Tip Top has made a wonderfully delicate, feminine card with a beautifully coloured image and gorgeous die cut.

Donna's Choice:  Linda's rose is beautifully made with Brusho crystals on watercolor paper. The rectilinear diecut background is an inspired contrast that lifts and highlights her 3-D rose as the card's centerpiece. Well done, Linda!

Kath's Choice:  Deepti's Little ballerina is perfectly spotlighted. I love the stamping on the ribbon. It's a card any young ballerina would love.

Congratulations Dena, Rosali, Mac, Marina, Natasa, Ellibelle, Ruth, Linda and Deepti!  Here is your badge to proudly display on your blog designating you as one of our Watercooler Rockers.

That's our lineup for this weeks' Watercooler Rock Star and Watercooler Rockers.  Be sure to come back tomorrow, February 20th, for our next Watercooler Wednesday Challenge.  You won't want to miss all the wonderful designs by our Watercooler Artists.
