WWC40 - The Winners!

I have to apologize.  I left the house this morning secure in the knowledge that when I schedule a post, it posts.  I just returned to the house and checked this site only to discover there was no "winners' post".  Upon checking, I further discovered that rather than having scheduled the post, I had left it as a draft.  Here it is, late but we have winners to announce.

It's that time again.  Today we pick our winners.  It's clear from the larger number of participants that "anything goes" is a popular challenge.  It's fun to see, as we try out various types of challenges, which ones appeal to people and which ones are just "so-so".  On to the voting.

Picking our winner this week was hard because of the terrific cards everyone created.  In the end, however, it was Susie Nelson's wonderful card which put her ahead in the votes.  That "smoosh" of green really created an original background.   Congratulations for "rocking the Watercooler" this week,

Susie, we hope you'll display your winner's badge, shown below, proudly on your blog.

Our runner-up this week is Kathe Deck's wonderful card.  It wasn't easy planning a card around "holly" but she managed it beautifully.  We especially loved the elegance of the white berries.

Kathe, we hope you'll display your runner-up's badge, shown below, proudly on your blog.

Thank you Lynn, Heather and Vicki for submitting your wonderfully elegant holly cards.  It was very difficult to make the final choices for the winners.  Please remember to come back tomorrow (November 4th) for the new Watercooler Wednesday challenge and the wonderful creations by the Watercooler Artists.
