WWC134 - Anything Goes Challenge

Woo Hoo!  It's the fifth Wednesday of a month and you know what that means.  We're having an Anything Goes challenge.  Terrific news, right?

WWC133 - The Winners

It's Tuesday and time to announce the Rock Star and Rockers for Penny's "All About Christmas" Challenge.  But first, we'd like to thank everyone who played along with with us.  Your entries were wonderful and it made our choices harder.  The Watercooler Artists enjoyed visiting your blogs to see all of your great designs.

Penny's choice for her Watercooler Rock Star is Sherri Lee's adorable snowman card. Following the winner are the Watercooler Artists choices for the Watercooler Rockers.


Penny's Winner:  I absolutely adore this acetate snowman card. Beautifully coloured and lots of texture.

Now it's time for the Watercooler Artists to share their choices for our Watercooler Rockers.  But before we do, I'd like to mention that one of our team members, Libby Fens, is not with us this week.  She is one of those impacted by Hurricane Harvey.  Our hearts are with her as she copes with the aftermath.

Kath's Choice:  I love the elegance.

Marsha's Choice:  I love Darnell's clean and simple design.  Those 3-D candy canes look real enough to eat! 


Gail's Choice:  It's festive, traditional and nostalgic. Great job combining all the patterns in a way that really works.

Judy's Choice:  This card is just absolutely adorable! I love those Christmas bears!!!

Heidi's Choice:  Love the combination of stamp sets as well as the lovely watercolouring. Great job stamping the envelope to match.

Fiona's Choice:  I love cardinals and love the way this one has been coloured.

WWC132 - The Winners

Marsha's Winner:  The landscape Sue designed using using alcohol inks is beautiful.  Her smooshing with a straw made for a very realistic background.

Heidi's Choice:  This is an amazing creation, beautifully thought out and well crafted. Excellent choice of embellishments.

Kath's Choice:  I like the layout and image.  Very masculine!

Judy's Choice:  I love all the techniques and color on this!

Penny's Choice:  The oxide blend in the background and the black oxide image of the jaunty young males out for a night on the town really captured and held my attention. Great card!

Gail's Choice:  I love all the different shades of blue and the die with all those angles and lines I think would really appeal to many men.

Fiona's Choice:  I love the construction of this card and the little envelope detail on the front.
