Meet the Watercooler Artists

HEIDI WEAVER (Coordinator)

I live in Blackfalds, Alberta, a transplant from British Columbia where I grew up.  As well as stamping, I have been enjoying sketching and crafts for most of my life.  I am deeply interested in photography, family, helping animal shelters, and helping the underprivileged.  I keep busy catering to my two rescued cats, Mei Li and Khali Kho, as well as enjoying activities with my two awesome grandsons.  My daughter and family live in Blackfalds as well, making it easy to have frequent family get-togethers and outings.

MARSHA REED (Assistant Coordinator)

I’m the mother of three handsome sons and grandmother to nine beautiful grandchildren I discovered card making when a friend dragged me, under protest, to a Stampin’ Up! party. It was love at first card for me. While I've enjoyed many crafts over the years, none has caught my attention like papercrafting.  When I’m not in my studio, I enjoy reading, writing, sewing, watching movies and spending time with my family and friends.

I live in Salem, Utah. I have been married to my husband Mike for 31 years and have 3 daughters and 2 sons as well as 2 granddaughters.  I have been scrapbooking for 29 years and making cards for 10. I first started stamping with Stampin’ Up! in 2003 and became a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in early 2007.  I hold weekly classes and monthly clubs in my home.  I find paper-crafting relaxing and enjoy stamping with friends.

I live in sunny Queensland, Australia with my husband and daughter.
Since I was a child, I have always loved to create and have enjoyed all kinds of crafts, sewing and painting. China painting helped develop my understanding of colour and design.
Over the last few years card making has taken up a major part of my crafting time as I love to play with new techniques and mediums.
Since beginning my blog, entering various challenges has encouraged me to grow my skills and creativity.

I'm a learning capability consultant by day and a paper crafter by night. I have a daughter who loves to create alongside me and a husband who supports me both with my career and my crafting passion. We live in the north eastern leafy suburb of Eltham in Melbourne, Australia with a bit of a menagerie of a cat, 2 bunnies, 3 fish and many wild birds that visit each afternoon for some seed. My blog name is an anagram of my name and stems from childhood when my father used to re-arrange my pencil case name on Sunday nights. When not crafting, I like to cook, read and watch my daughter play netball.

I live in Texas and am relatively new to cardmaking.  Two years ago, on a whim,  I decided to make some handmade thank you cards…and I never stopped creating.  I discovered challenges in 2018 and soon started a blog for more professional looking entries.   I am married and have a great husband and two wonderful grown daughters plus a very spoiled mini-Aussie (Australian Shepherd) dog.  When I am not making cards I enjoy playing tennis, photography, dog walking, reading and spending time with friends.  I am looking forward to seeing your creations!

I live on the North Shore in Auckland, New Zealand with my extremely patient husband.  I am Mum to two adult children and Nanny to my adorable grandson (and another grandchild on the way)  Like many crafters I have had a go at knitting, crochet, toy and teddybear making and cross stitch.  About 11 years ago I was introduced to  card making and have never looked back.  Love it as much now as I did when I started.  I work full time so my spare time is mostly spent crafting but I also love to read, travel and spend time with my family. And in summer,  spend time at the beach which is very close to our house.

I live near the beach in a bayside suburb of Melbourne, Australia with my beautiful husband of 32 years.  We have been together 40 years this October and have two handsome sons, a daughter in law and a hopefully soon to be daughter in law!  We have recently retired after having operated our own business for the last 25 years. I keep myself busy by volunteering as the treasurer for my local tennis club and I play mid week competition tennis. A friend introduced me to card making 9 years ago and I have been hooked ever since.
