WWC232 - The Watercooler Rock Star and Rockers

Drum roll, please!  It's Tuesday and time to announce our Watercooler Rock Star and Watercooler Rockers for our awesome "Anything Goes" Challenge.  But first, we'd like to thank all those who played along with us.  Beautiful entries that make our choices so much harder, but we think you are all stars.  Well done!

Marsha's choice for our Watercooler Rock Star is Julia's wonderful birthday card.  Following the winner are the Watercooler Artists' choices for the Watercooler Rockers.

Marsha's Rock Star:  My choice is #40.  Julia has created a wonderful card.  I love the way the brewed tea has stained the watercolour paper.  A vintage look with just a bit of colour.

Congratulations, Julia.  Here is your badge to proudly display on your blog designating you as our Watercooler Rock Star.

Next up are all the wonderful designs that caught the eyes of the other Watercooler Artists for our Watercooler Rockers.  They are shown in no particular order.

Kath's Rocker:  Rose's card, "Believe", is bold and beautiful!  The colouring is absolutely wonderful!  A fun card all around.

Heidi's Rocker:  Claire has created a striking Anniversary card.  I love the white die-cut stringed heart against the white base.  By inlaying the heart with the wonderful coloured sections cut from the Yupo paper, she has made an already great card even more elegant and unforgettable.

Karen's Rocker:  Darnell has created a most striking card.  Her Brushos background splashed with bleach resulted in a lovely creation.  A very special birthday card.

Dawn's Rocker:  Steffi has made a beautiful CAS card with the gorgeous pastel ornaments.  It is a fabulous design.

Tristan's Rocker:  Mac has created a stunning card with papertowel - who would have thought to use something that would usually have been destroyed and add gold embossing to the edges?  Simply gorgeous.

Kristie (#30)
Michelle's Rocker:  Kristie has made a gorgeous rainbow of waves for her thank you card.  The white heat embossed sentiment just pops off the card!  So bright and cheery!

Helen's Rocker:  Milla has created a beautifully coloured CAS watercoloured card featuring a really fun little boy image!

Congratulations Rose, Claire, Darnell, Steffie, Mac, Kristie, and Milla!  Here is your badge to proudly display on your blog designating you as one of our Watercooler Rockers.

That's our lineup for this week's Watercooler Rock Star and Watercooler Rockers.  Be sure to come back tomorrow, August 7th, for our next Watercooler Wednesday Challenge.  You won't want to miss all the wonderful creations by our Watercooler Artists.

Donna's choice for our Watercooler Rock Star is Chris' "eye" catching card design.  Following the winner are the Watercooler Artists choices for the Watercooler Rockers.

Donna's Rock Star:   Chris' soft "splat" background makes a great contrast with the gorgeous eye stamp. Of course with an eye like that, it just HAS to have some bling!!!

Congratulations Chris!  Here is your badge to proudly display on your blog designating you as our Watercooler Rock Star.

Next up are all the wonderful designs that caught the eyes of the other Watercooler Artists for our Watercooler Rockers.  They are shown in no particular order.

Marsha's Rocker:   Allisa has created a lovely floral thank you card in pretty pinks and greens. I love the background paper she used and the single flower. Well done.

Heidi's Rocker:   Kim has used wonderfully bright colours for her rainy day card. It seems as if a rainbow is forming in the background. Love the wonderful blending and detail.

Karen's Rocker:   Yvette's gorgeous purple dress is stunning. I love the beautiful blending.

Helen's Rocker:   Lynda's bright, happy pot of flowers takes centre stage against her pretty embossed background.

Kath's Rocker:  Mary's card is lovely, her simple usage of designer paper paired with the bold Hello makes it a great card.

Dawn's Rocker:   I love how Robyn has used her bold flower as her focal point. She has layered it beautifully. The addition of the two different tones of pink stripes draws the eye to the focal flower.

Michelle's Rocker:   I love the striped background Jackie has used along with the patterned paper. She has coloured in the flowers beautifully! Such a pretty feminine card!

Tristan's Rocker:   I love the monochrome colour scheme with the softly stamped leaves popping form behind her sentiment. She has made a very elegant card.

Congratulations Allisa, Kim, Yvette, Lynda, Mary, Robyn, Jackie and Maria!  Here is your badge to proudly display on your blog designating you as one of our Watercooler Rockers.

Tristan's choice:  Love the die cut text panel and super glossy holly leaves. The peace sentiment just pops off her card.

WWC179 - The Winners!

Tuesday has come round again and it's time to announce our Rock Star and Rockers for Heidi's Masculine "Anything Goes" challenge.  But first, we'd like to thank all those who played along with us.  Your entries this week were awesome!  You all continue to make it harder and harder on us to make our choices as we think you are all stars.  Well done!

Heidi's choice for our Watercooler Rock Star is Tristan's fantastic extreme surfer card design.  Well done!  Following the winner are the Watercooler Artists choices for the Watercooler Rockers.

Heidi's Winner:  Tristan's card simply blew me away. The silhouette of the surfer, the background papers, and the colours were perfect for this design, especially combined with the puffy paint outlining the crest of the waves.

Congratulations, Tristan!  Here is your badge to proudly display on your blog designating you as our Watercooler Rock Star.

Next up are the wonderful creations that caught the eye of the other Watercooler Artists for our Watercooler Rockers.  They are shown in no particular order.

Marsha's Choice:  The scene Chris created to showcase Horace is nicely done.  I like the way she added the patterned papers to make it so realistic a setting.  I loved this image as it is so reminiscent of an older gentleman that I once knew.

Gail's Choice:  It has some great masculine elements such as the steam engine and I love the addition of the clothing tag.

Crystal's Choice:  Her adorable cowboy scene was fitting for a masculine theme and the coloring was very impressive!

Kath's Choice:  Rijacki's Otter card is adorable! The paper works so well with the images.

Helen's Choice:  This is such a cute image, beautifully coloured which works so well with the background papers.

Charlotte's Choice:  I love the cute otters in their individual circles. The wave patterns made by experimenting with Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens work wonderfully. Really fun and sweet design.

Congratulations, Chris, Natasa, Toni, Rijacki, Linda and Ruth.  Here is your badge to proudly display on your blog designating you one of our Watercooler Rockers.
