WWC88 - Heidi's Sketch Challenge

Woo Hoo!  It's time for a sketch challenge!  This week Heidi Weaver has created an awesome sketch for us.  Remember, sketch challenges have a lot of options as long as it is clear that the sketch was used.  Turn it on its side.  Flip it upside down.  It's your choice.

Ready to create and link-up?  Want a bit more inspiration?  Just check out the terrific ways in which the sketch inspired our samples this week.  As usual, if you click on the name under each card, you can visit the blog post to see details on how the card was created.  We begin with Heidi's softly romantic card.

And now it's your turn.  You can join us by linking up your creation with the InLinkz at the bottom of this challenge.

Remember:
          1.  This must be a new project---no back-linking to a previous post.
          2.  You must link your project back to our challenge (details at top of page).
          3.  You must link directly to your post, not simply your general blog.
          4.  Please link to no more than 4 challenges, including ours.
          5.  Have fun!

Simply use the link-up below to share your project.  This Linky will close on Monday, October 10th at 5:00 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time.

WWC79 - Kath's Sketch Challenge

Welcome to this week's Watercooler Wednesday Challenge.  Kath Ricks has given us a great sketch with which to work and it has a lot of possibilities.  You can use it as is or flip it like Kath did.  There are lots of opportunity for creativity using this sketch.

We have some great samples created by the Watercooler Artists to show you what you can do with the sketch.  You can click on the Artist's name under their card to visit their blog post and see the details on how their card was created.  With Kath hosting this week, we begin with her great use of the sketch.  Lots of detail and a wonderful birthday card.

Now it's your turn.  You can join us by linking up your creation with the InLinkz at the bottom of this challenge.

WWC75 - Deborah's Sketch Challenge

We have a great challenge this week.  Deborah Smart is hosting a sketch challenge.  There are some terrific samples created by the Watercooler Artists to get you excited.

You will see that every card created by the Watercooler Artists is different.  It's not just the colours and stamps that are different but even the shapes have their own interpretations.  You don't have to leave the sketch upright as it's presented.  Turning it on its side or even upside down can make for a wonderful but acceptable change of pace.  As long as your interpretation is recognisably this sketch, we encourage you to link it up.  For details on how Deborah and the other Watercooler Artists created their projects, just click on the name underneath and you will be taken to that blog post.

And now it's your turn.  You can join us by linking up your creation with the InLinkz at the bottom of this challenge.

WWC66 - Libby's Sketch Challenge

Welcome to this week's sketch challenge.  Our newly permanent Watercooler Artist, Libby Fens, is hosting this week.  It's a great sketch and we had a lot of fun creating our cards just as we're certain you will, as well.

As with any sketch challenges, you can change the square shape of the card for a rectangle, you can turn it vertically or horizontally, as long as the finished card is clearly based on the sketch.

This week we're changing things up just a bit.  Before we show off all the wonderful cards created by the Watercooler Artists, we're going to introduce this week's Guest Designer, Penny Hanuszak, and her lovely card.  Penny has linked up some wonderful creations to our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge and is also a frequent participant in our Wacky Watercooler Blog Hop.  She lives in Vancouver, British Columbia here in Canada and loves to create cards in her spare time.

And now it's the Watercooler Artists' turn.  As usual, if you click on the name under each card, you can visit the blog post to see details on how the card was created.  We begin with Libby's wonderful use of the retiring Cups & Kettles framelits.

And now it's your turn.  You can join us by linking up your creation with the InLinkz at the bottom of this challenge.

Remember:
          1.  This must be a new project---no back-linking to a previous post.

WWC57 - The Winner

It's that time again.  Today we pick our winners.  It's good to see so many familiar names among the link-ups coming back to join the challenges.  Sketch challenges are fun and draw a lot of participation.  We had some fabulous cards from which to choose.  That's great for the challenge but really tough on the team as we go to pick winners.

As difficult as it is to have such a great selection from which to pick our winners, in the end it was Jayme Ziemer's card that stole the show.  Jayme not only used the sketch beautifully but also showed us how Paper Pumpkin Kits can be so versatile.  Congratulations for "rocking the Watercooler" this week, Jayme.

Jayme, we hope you'll display your winner's badge, shown below, proudly on your blog.

It was difficult to choose our Honourable Mentions since there were such great cards to choose from this week.   The two cards that squeaked past the rest were Susie Nelson's and Betty Lee's.

Susie and Betty, we hope you'll each proudly display the badge, shown below, on your blogs.

And, a special thank you as well to Sheri and Heather for linking their wonderful cards.

Please remember to come back tomorrow (March 9th) for the new Watercooler Wednesday challenge and the wonderful creations by the Watercooler Artists.

Stefanie Plestcher

Jackie Susnik

Heidi Weaver
Susan Horr

Terri Antoniw
Buffy Cooper

Join the fun and share your creations!! Each challenge lasts 2 weeks and will end 5 minutes before the new challenge is posted. Please note that this week the linky is "text only" as we look for another photo based linky that is free to use.
