WWC335 - The Watercooler Rock Star and Rockers

It is with a touch of sadness that I write our final winners post for the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge.  It has been a joy to have seen all of your lovely creations through the years.  Thank you so much for making our challenge such a success.  We, the Watercooler Artists, will miss you all.

Presenting to you our final Watercooler Rock Star and Watercooler Rockers.

The Watercooler Rock Star

Chris

Heidi's Rock Star:  Our cold snap and new snow make Christmas seem a lot closer, somehow. I love the tent card. Having that wonderful snowflake-filled patterned paper show through the circular cut-out really adds a lot of depth. The die cut snowflake border around the arch frames the adorable Santa and celebrating reindeer beautifully. And the colouring---the perfect crowning touch. Love it!

Congratulations Chris!  Here is your badge to proudly display on your blog designating you as our Watercooler Rock Star.

The Watercooler Rockers

Trina P

Marsha's Rocker:  Trina's daisies are so beautifully colored.  I like the hexagon frame with stitching is a great addition.  I'm ready for spring and this clean and simple design has me looking forward to all those spring blooms.

Stef Perry

Dawn's Rocker:  I just love the elegance of Stef’s foiled and coloured florals. Her soft and subtle devised background and the beautiful frame are amazing.
Just so gorgeous.

Michelle W

Helen's Rocker:  Michelle's CAS card is so eye-catching with her choice of the wonderful alcohol inks for her beautiful die cuts. Simply striking.

Tindaloo

Cathy's Rocker:  I love the vibrant colours in Tindaloo's tag, so many pretty details and gorgeous butterflies.

JanR

Kath's Rocker:  Jan has created a fun card! The birthday Dino is adorable and the coloring is amazing.

Lesley K

Tristan's Rocker:  Lesley has created a fabulous milestone birthday card. I love her design, colouring and use of DSP. Who can resist a cute sloth?!

Congratulations Trina, Stef, Michelle, Tindaloo, Jan and Lesley!  Here is your badge to proudly display on your blog designating you as one of our Watercooler Rockers.

Thank you for “celebrating the end” with us.

I just want to thank all the talented participants to this challenge and all our previous challenges.  We've had a wonderful time enjoying the incredible variety of creations.  We're ending three months shy of eight years, but they've been full years of gathering a strong and steady following.  It has been a true privilege to enjoy this time creating beauty with you all.

WWC335 - Heidi's Challenge: "Anything Goes" Celebrating the End

What a ride it's been!  Since that first post on June 1st, 2014, our Challenge has undergone a number of changes, constantly building, until we finally wound up with the awesome Watercooler Wednesday Challenge, a set rotation of Themes and a terrific team of Watercooler Artists.  We've been "flying high", attracting a wonderful number of participants, both regulars and drop-ins.  But nothing lasts forever and I must admit that it feels good to shut the Challenge down, going out with a "bang".  We love you all and invite you to participate one last time.

For this final Challenge, we decided to go "all out" and create something fancy.  You'll notice a lot of fancy folds and special techniques.  After all, we want to justify having called ourselves the Watercooler Artists  For details on how Heidi and all the Watercooler Artists created their projects, just click on the name underneath each project and you will be taken to that blog post.  We'll begin with Heidi's special Birthday fold:
