WWC201 - The Watercooler Rock Star and Rockers

Drum roll, please!  It's Tuesday.  It's a New Year.  It's time to announce our Watercooler Rock Star and Watercooler Rockers for Marsha's Special Two Week "Anything Goes" challenge.  But first, we'd like to thank all those who played along with us.  Wonderful entries that make our choices so much harder, but we think you are all stars.  Well done!

Marsha's choice for our Watercooler Rock Star is Gwendolyn's beautiful water-colored lilies. Following the winner are the Watercooler Artists choices for the Watercooler Rockers.

Marsha's Winner:  I love Gwendolyn's gorgeous lilies. They are beautifully colored and look so realistic that they jump right off the page.

Congratulations, Gwendolyn!  Here is your badge to proudly display on your blog designating you as our Watercooler Rock Star.

Now on to the other wonderful designs that caught the eyes of the other Watercooler Artists for our Watercooler Rockers.  They are shown in no particular order.

Dawn's Choice:  The elegance of the CAS card caught my eye. The way the gold feather is overlapped by the textured black one is stunning. The simple gold embossed sentiment makes the whole card pop.

Tristan's Choice:   Claire has created a lovely scene with Santa and the reindeer. Love her stencilled brick wall and that touch of red and white behind the sentiment banner.

Heidi's Choice:   The subtle embossed holly pattern on the dark grey base perfectly compliments her beautifully coloured bird. I love the sky and the puffy snow. Simply lovely.

Gail's Choice: I love that it is inspired by a book I read many years ago. The images are really great with all the texture. And the colours are perfect. I may have to read that book again!

Karen's Choice:  The New Year's robot is adorable and perfectly showcased by the stenciled background. I also love the visual details showing 2018 on the way out and that 2019 is almost here.

Kath's Choice:  Lynda's card is beautifully colored and so well laid out that at first glance you don't even notice that it is a 1 layer card. It is a beautiful piece of art.

Helen's Choice:   Karen has created a stunning background to her beautiful card. The gorgeous colours and sparkling hearts are just perfect for this lovely Anniversary card!

Donna's Choice:  Angie's sympathy card is elegant with it's expert touch using the bleaching technique to give vibrant depth to her floral stamped design. The use of heat embossing for the sentiment piece goes perfectly with the layout and mood of her card.

Congratulations, Ishani, Claire, Monika, Marina, Cornelia, Lynda, Karen and Angie.  Here is your badge to proudly display on your blog designating you as one of our Watercooler Rockers.

That's our lineup for this weeks' Watercooler Rock Star and Watercooler Rockers.  Be sure to come back tomorrow, January 2nd, for our next Watercooler Wednesday Challenge.  You won't want to miss all the wonderful designs by our Watercooler Artists.
