WWC194 - The Watercooler Rock Star and Rockers

Drum roll, please!  It's Tuesday time to announce our Watercooler Rock Star and Watercooler Rockers for our "Anything Goes" challenge.  But first, we'd like to thank all those who played along with us.  Beautiful entries that make our choices so much harder but we think you are all stars.  Well done!

Heidi's choice for our Watercooler Rock Star is Lynda's gorgeous poinsettia framed art.  Following the winner are the Watercooler Artists choices for the Watercooler Rockers.

Heidi's Winner:  I love the Penny Black images and the way Lynda added the watercolour look after stamping. It has softened the images and made them magical. The frame shows them off wonderfully well.

Congratulations, Lynda!  Here is your badge to proudly display on your blog designating you as our Watercooler Rock Star.

Next up are the awesome creations that caught the eye of the other Watercooler Artists for our Watercooler Rockers.  They are shown in no particular order.

Marsha's Choice:  Magnolias are a favorite and Gwen water-colored these beautifully.  I love the sentiment centered among all those flowers.

Tristan's Choice: Dawn has created a beautiful vibrant card. the purple and green of her flowers and leaves just pop of her card. The soft stenciled background is a perfect foil for the flowers.

Gail's Choice:   First reason is it is just such a cheerful, happy colour! Next, the sentiment could cover any number of things. And finally, there are just so many details to look at in the background that don't really appear at first as the whole design is so cohesive.

Helen's Choice:  Trina has used her stamps to create a very clever and wonderfully fun Christmas card. Her super ink blended background really sets off this fun CAS card.

Charlotte's Choice:   Toni has made such a fun and colourful Christmas card. I love the blended background, and the Santa is a beautifully coloured addition.

Kath's Choice:  Darlene's Triptych Village Card Panel is wonderful to base a card on. The black and white make a perfect night scene. Adding the touch gold behind the church was a great addition.

Congratulations, Gwendolyn, Dawn, Jan, Trina, Toni and Darlene.  Here is your badge to proudly display on your blog designating you one of our Watercooler Rockers.

That's our lineup for this weeks' Watercooler Rock Star and Watercooler Rockers.  Be sure to come back tomorrow, November 7th, for our next Watercooler Wednesday Challenge.  You won't want to miss all the wonderful designs by our Watercooler Artists.

WWC194 - "Anything Goes" Challenge

Woo Hoo!  It's the fifth Wednesday of the month and we all know what that means.  We're having an "Anything Goes" challenge.  We mean that quite literally.  This project does not have to be a card.  Show us your amazing creation.  We can't wait to see what you choose to link up this week.

But first, let's talk about our Design Team call.

This is the last challenge for which we will be accepting applications for our Design Team.  If you're interested and think you can keep up with a growing weekly challenge, just put DT behind your name when you link up your card.

NOTE:  All applicants must have an active Facebook page since our team runs everything through our private Facebook page.
All applicants must also have an English blog or a bi-lingual blog, one of which languages must be English.  Since all our planning and discussion is done in English, the applicant must be able to understand what is going on.

For an idea of how our challenge works, check out previous challenges HERE.

And now...

Let's have a look at  the terrific projects by the Watercooler Artists to get your creative juices flowing.  You can see how many ways an "Anything Goes" challenge can be covered, from a framed Christmas decor piece to an incredibly complex special fold and an absolutely gorgeous variety of cards.   For details on how the Watercooler Artists created their projects, just click on the name underneath and you will be taken to that blog post.  We begin with Heidi's Christmas decor piece:

And now it's your turn.  You can join us by linking up your creation with the InLinkz at the bottom of this challenge.

Remember:

          1.  This must be a new project---no back-linking to a previous post.
          2.  You must link your project back to our challenge (details at top of page).
          3.  You must link directly to your post, not simply your general blog.
